A Couple Thousand Players Are Already Playing the Unannounced Game

At the time of writing, more than 1,500 people are playing the unreleased game. The number of concurrent players in Sony’s open beta has gone up as well, but hasn’t even hit the 1,000-player mark.

Judging by the 24-hour peak, the game drew in almost 1,000 more concurrent players than Firewalk’s shooter, with the first reaching 2,375 players in the last 24 hours and the latter just drawing in 1,447 concurrent players.

Leaks surrounding the unannounced title abound, and the creators aren’t stopping them from piling up. Yet, players are still waiting for an official announcement of the third-person 6v6 hero shooter that has been described as a combination ofDOTA 2,Overwatch, andValorant.

The player count recorded on SteamDB shows that a couple of thousand users are already playtesting the game, suggesting that an announcement might not be too far off. These numbers are cause for concern for the PlayStation maker, which struggles to find an audience among PC players with its paid title.
