There are so many amazing characters for you to collect and play with in Honkai Star Rail. Some of them you will acquire by completing main story missions, while others will require you to use the game’s Warp system, the Star Rail equivalent to Genshin Impact’s Wish system.

To use the Warp system, you’ll need to get your hands on some Star Rail Passes. These passes will most commonly be acquired by purchasing them using Stellar Jade, and there is no better way to fill your bags with Stellar Jade than by taking down some Warp Trotters. This guide will walk you through where to find them, and how to beat them to claim your prize.
Warp Trotter Details
Serving as the Star Rail version of a treasure goblin, Warp Trotters are an enemy that doesn’t focus on attack, but rather escape. After starting the battle, you will essentially have three turns to defeat them before they will run away. On their first turn they’ll bescared, on their second turn they’ll startpreparing to run, and then on their third turn, they’llescapethe battle.
Each Warp Trotter will give you60 Stellar Jadeupon being defeated. If they do end up escaping from the battle, you can always fast-travel back to the same location to face them again. After defeating a particular Warp Trotter, they will no longer spawn in that area.

How To Defeat A Warp Trotter
Like any enemy, they are weak to certain kinds of attacks. Specifically, you can do the most damage and potentially stun them by usingphysical, quantum, and imaginary-type attacks. This makes Stelle or Caelus an excellent match for taking them out, but you’ll typically need to have another character or two with the right attack types to help drain their health before they run away.
To defeat the Warp Trotter, you’ll need to focus all your attacks on them first. There will always be other enemies around, but you can take them out after the Warp Trotter is defeated. Focus on taking down their toughness (white bar above health) to trigger a weakness break. This will stun them and make them take more damage for one turn. Use your Ultimates on them while they are stunned, and you defeat them in no time.
Where To Find Warp Trotter
These cute little monsters are fairly rare to encounter while exploring. Warp Trotters will be found roaming the various zones alongside other enemies. Thankfully, their locations are fixed, meaning they will not randomly spawn, but rather will be in the same spots for every player.
you may find some early-game Warp Trotters on the Star Rail. The first is located in the Base Zone in the northwestern hall. Another one can be found in the Storage Zone on the first floor. The third is located in the Supply Zone on the second floor.
