Jingliuis currently the premiere DPS character inHonkai Star Rail. However, her popularity with the player base can also be attributed to her excellent visual design, with her icy countenance and that mysterious blindfold. Nevertheless, some players wanted the option to remove her blindfold, and although there is no dedicated switch to take it off, there is a workaround.

you’re able to see Jingliu’s Mara-struck eyes during combat when she enters her Transmigration State, and during her one of her idle animations. However, if you want to temporarily remove her blindfold while you’re exploring, there is a trick in the Camera Settings to help you do that.

Why Does Jingliu Wear A Blindfold?
The answer to why Jingliu wears a blindfold can be found inYanqing’sCompanion Mission: Frosty Blade’s Trial. In her own words, she wears it as proof of her resolve to never look back, and to never fall again into Mara and destruction. It is implied that restraining one of her senses helps maintain her sanity.
How To Remove Jingliu’s Blindfold
To remove Jingliu’s blindfold, follow the simple steps listed below. Keep in mind, however, that this is not a permanent change. She will revert to wearing the blindfold if you enter combat, go through a lengthy loading screen (like when you’re fast traveling to a different map location), or if she enters her ‘Idle action 2’ while you’re exploring.
Since this trick doesn’t affect any game files, players need not be concerned they’ll get in trouble for using it or sharing screenshots. There has also been no news that would suggest the developers will be patching this out.
