Godrick the Grafted is not only the most grotesque creature that the player comes across in the game but also happens to be the very first shard-bearing (and the weakest) demigod that the tarnished fights against.
Additionally, the game is often credited with being influenced by the famous Japanese manga seriesBerserkmade by Kentaro Miura, and a new theory has surfaced once again, speculating how Godrick happens to be inspired by one of the most significant characters in the said series.
