In 2018, SSSniperWolf appeared for an interview withTubefilterand revealed that her parents were “super strict” and put a lot of restrictions on her and her brothers. She said,
Since my parents were super strict, we were not allowed to go over to our friends’ houses, parties, school dances, or even on field trips. So, I spent my time at home gaming.

In another interview, she explained that she often spent time at her home watching Call of Duty videos, so she also decided to make videos. She said (viaNickiSwift), “I also loved watching Call of Duty videos on YouTube, and one day thought to myself, ‘Hey, I can do that too.’ So I started my own YouTube channel.” Initially, she didn’t gather a lot of attention but by 2017, her content blew up and she became a well-known name around the world.
SSSniperWolf’s Content Has Changed Over The Years
Initially, SSSniperWolf made gaming videos but soon she shifted to streaming. As for her YouTube channel, she mostly posts reaction videos now. In the same interview, she explained that getting content out of just gaming videos was quite stressful,
Uploading gaming videos everyday became very stressful, because I wanted the content to be both good and entertaining. I would record for several hours just to get enough clips, sometimes even feeling like the clips weren’t good enough. It was becoming too much to handle, so I began streaming instead.
