To say that Henry Cavill was wasted as Superman would be an understatement. Despite being the perfect fit to pull off the traditional Superman, the writing and direction of the now-defunct DCEU never allowed the actor to live up to his full potential as the Man of Steel. Moreover, with the regime change, the actor’s run as Clark Kent officially came to an end in late 2022.

Fans on the web have now drawn parallels between his look and Jonathan Kent, and it’s hard to argue otherwise. Dressed in a plaid flannel and dark blue jeans, he seems the perfect fit to serve as Superman’s moral guide.
