Helldivers 2 Is Entering The Board Game Market
Steamforged Games shares, “We are beyond thrilled to announce this glorious, cooperative, explosion-filled adaptation of the fastest-selling PlayStation video game of all time, developed by Arrowhead Game Studios and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment.”
Helldivers 2: The Board Game will be a 1-4 player tactical action board game, where “every decision can mean the difference between victory and total annihilation in service of Super Earth.”
While the game details are scarce, Steamforged says we can expect “heroic last stands, spectacular mishaps, and the kind of cinematic action that turns every gaming session into a glorious war story!”
And for those wondering, yes, the board game version will also feature friendly fire. Now you can drop an airstrike and accidentally kill your teammates in tabletop form!
