This allows her to be the one in charge of overseeing what is going out there on the big screen for the public to consume. She does not mind losing projects if it means she can bring more diversity to her work instead of having stories revolve around White women.
In an interview withVanity Fair, when she was asked about the kind of movies that Excellent Cadaver was not interested in making, Jennifer Lawrence said:
“Well, that’s hard to answer, because if I answer honestly, I’m out of a job. I mean, haven’t we had enough stories about White women?”
