Now it’s important to note that there’s no solid proof that Rowling had anything to do with the riots or the hate campaign against a certain sport.

This isn’t the first time something of this sort has happened with Rowling, though. It all started back in 2020, when she first shared her thoughts on gender identity and trans rights. Her views on the transgenger community wasn’t appreciated at all, and a lot of people, including fans and actors likeDaniel RadcliffeandEmma Watson, spoke out against her tweets (viaGlamour).

She’s a biological female
She’s a woman. Unlike you.
Good! She’s not a man. You’re continuing to spread Russian disinformation I see. I hope she wins the gold.
She is a women who was born with a vagina.Debate whether or not women with XY chromosomes or naturally occurring elevated levels of testosterone should be allowed to compete against women who don’t.But stop being such a knt by calling her a man all the damn time
Imane is a woman. Ends.
Do you have proof she’s a male?
Rowling’s tweet about sex and gender identity has sent shockwaves through the fandom. Many fans, especially those in the LGBTQ+ community, felt betrayed by the woman who created a world where everyone belonged.
