The Scottish Game On exhibition showcases insightful tidbits for Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead Redemption fans.
While a financial earnings call might not seem all that interesting, the company has been known to announce big news or release new trailers/screenshots prior to a financial earnings call in order to have something positive to discuss with shareholders during the call. There’s no guarantee that this means Take-Two subsidiary Rockstar Games will release anything new, but it hasn’t stopped fans from speculating.

Over on Reddit, anew poston the GTA 6 subreddit brought attention to the recently announced earnings call, saying, “Entirely speculation, but knowing the timing of when Rockstar released screenshots for GTA V and RDR2, we’re likely going to see GTA 6 screenshots in under a month.”
“Screenshots in the first week of next month would make sense considering the earnings call and amount of time surpassed since the trailer,“another usersaid in response to the post.

It has now been seven, excruciatingly long months since Rockstar premiered the very first trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6, and we haven’t seen anything since. While Take-Two did go on to confirm during its last financial earnings call that the highly-anticipated game would bereleased in Fall 2025, fans are still begging for a second trailer or some new screenshots.
While merely speculation, there’s a strong chance that Rockstar does release a handful of new screenshots before Take-Two’s earnings call next month. The reason for this is due to the company’s previous timeline on past releases. Grand Theft Auto 5, for example, premiered its first trailer in November of 2011, before releasing new screenshots in July of 2012, meaning there was an 8-month gap between the game’s trailer and screenshots.
If Grand Theft Auto 5’s timeline is anything to go by, and based on the fact that a new quarterly earnings call is right around the corner, we really could be seeing new GTA 6 screenshots in the coming weeks.
