If you didn’t get around to playing someAssassin’s Creed: Odysseywhen it first came out on October 5 - and who could blame you with so many great games available - then you’re in luck, but only if you have a PC and you’re a resident in the states. If you ticked yes to the last two requirements, then you can head on over to Google’s latest Chrome streaming serviceProject Streamand start playtesting, it’s as easy as that.
As a way of saying thank you, all you’ll need to do is play a game for about an hour and then you’ll be giftedAssassin’s Creed: Odysseyvia Ubisoft’s Uplay service, plus 1,000 helix credits for all Project Stream participants. The testing will end January 15th so you will have loads of time to get yourself on there, especially over the Christmas period while your drinking your favoriteAssassin’s Creedwine. Seems like a winning deal to me.
It’s worth noting that any unused Helix credits from your time with Project Stream will not carry over, but items and progress will. So if you do play, verify to use that currency quickly.
If you haven’t heard of Google’s Project Stream then let me give you a quick run-down: Project Stream is a platform for streaming some of the latest games and during the test period you’ll have the ability to stream the game to a supported Chrome browser on a laptop or desktop. They have teamed up with Ubisoft to give a limited number of folk the ability to playAssassin’s Creed: Odysseyat no charge for the duration of the Project Stream test.
