Eiichiro Oda continues with the Egghead saga

The newest arc seems to triumph over all the previous sagas, as they unravel more secrets that will leave the fans flabbergasted. The anime series has showcased some exhilarating fights, like the rematch between Rob Lucci and Monkey D. Luffy.

However, the storyline has now developed into something serious as Egghead Island is racing towards its climax. However, the viewers are not thrilled as Sanji gets punched by S-Shark and gets hurt by him.

One Piece Fans Are Upset With The Latest Development In The Egghead Saga

Eiichiro Oda’sOne Piece‘s The Egghead Arc might be the greatest saga featured in the series, surpassing the Wano Arc in terms of development and action. While it might be a bold claim that the current storyline might be far from a conclusion, fans are already upset with a scene that took place in the recent episode.

The current arc ofOne Piecehas escalated as Oda-Sensei felt that it was the right time to introduce Dr. Vegapunk’s latest creation, The Seraphim. For fans who have not caught up on the latest arc, the Seraphim is like a special type of Pacifista unit that is developed by the Marines’ Special Science Group and intends to replicate the Seven Warlords of the Sea.

These living units are like the clones of the former warlords of the sea, and they are genetically superior as they are mixed with King’s Lunarian Lineage Factor and elevate their power by replicating the Devil Fruit power.

In the recent episode of the anime series, fans saw that S-Shark, the clone of Jinbe, was going to attack Jinbe, but Black Leg decided to jump to her defense immediately, resulting in a punch to the face.

One Piece fans can’t believe Sanji was hurt by S-Shark

This was not the first time he jumped to save Nami, but fans were fuming with anger because the character’s face seemed to be heavily scratched after he took the punch.

One of the major causes of the outrage was that the Cook of the Straw Hat Pirates is not like other human beings because he was genetically enhanced by Germa 66 as a kid.

Moreover, the attack was a normal move and since they have fought so many strong adversaries in the past, the no-named move should not have hurt him at all.

Vinsmoke Sanji Fans Are Upset with S-Shark Easily Hurting Him

There’s no doubt thatEiichiro Odais setting up a Sanji vs. S-Shark fight. However, fans are incredibly upset with how the scene developed. He was at the right place and at the right time, saving Nami from grave danger that might have killed her had the chef not been there.

Fans are not entertained by the idea that a weak attack from the clone was able to damage the genetically enhanced character so easily. Pew (@pewpiece) shared the clip from the episode on X, and the viewers bombed the post with negative comments, insulting S-Shark.

It was alright, I figured that s shark punch wasn’t anything crazy initially in the manga but I did think he was gonna hit Sanji with one of Jimbei’s specials like this but that’s asking for too much gas Toei wont do lolpic.twitter.com/hbTPlbge5b

Getting scratches from a No named attack of walmart jimbei is crazy ngl

Still kinda disappointed he got scratched up by the weakest seraphim using a no named attack 😔

My fucking goat don’t even needa lift a finger to instill fear into a seraphim unlike some pplpic.twitter.com/LvoTxATIC0

HES REALLY HIM

What was peak? S-Shark and nami looked peak for sure. But the punch looked weak. Nothing behind it. It’s not like he had black lightning coming from his fists.Almost any character in the story at THIS point, would’ve been fine after THAT weak punch. Please stop, Pew.

Given that the Chef of the Straw Hat Pirates is part of the monster trio, fans are unhappy with the show’s recent episode, as they can’t believe that all it took to hurt their favorite character was a no-named move.
