Genshin Impacthas confirmed today thatRaiden ShogunandAyatobanner reruns will be available between December 27 and February 17 as part of two separate wish events, meaning players can bid farewell to the banners of Scaramouche and Itto until next week. It also accompanies the second phase of the 3.3 update, in which players can add new four-star characters - Sara, Rosaria, and Sayu, to their party during the events.

Raiden Shogun is having her third rerun while Ayato is having his first in Genshin Impact, with each character banner including a lineup of three four-star characters for players to empower their parties. The events will be available on December 27 to increase the drop-rate of the returning characters, the “Reign of Serenity” for Raiden Shogun and the “Azure Excursion” for the Hydro user Kamisato Ayato.

Going into more detail, Raiden Shogun will receive a drop-rate boost in the Reign of Serenity event, during which players can also stock up on weapons and the other three characters - Rosaria, Sayu, and Sara.The Azure Excursion event, on the flip side, will grant a higher drop-rate for Ayato, as well as the lineup of three characters mentioned above. Players who complete the challenges that can be seen on the Wish screen will receive the corresponding rewards.

There will also be an “Epitome Invocation” event during which Engulfing Lightning (Polearm) and Haran Geppaku Futsu (Sword) will receive a drop-rate boost. The event-exclusive weapons that will have a higher drop-rate also feature Akuoumaru (Claymore), Mounn’s Moon (Bow), and Lion’s Roar (Sword), as well as Favonius Lance (Polearm) and Sacrificial Fragments (Catalyst). Keep in mind that of the weapons above, these event-exclusive weapons won’t be available in the standard wish “Wanderlust Invocation.” The Epitome Invocation event will run from December 27 until June 26, 2025.

As for the new characters coming alongside the banners of Raiden Shogun and Ayato in the second part of the 3.3 update,Sarais a four-star Electro user specializing in DPS & support roles. She can provide attack bonuses to her party members while using a bow to dole out a certain amount of damage. On the other hand, Rosaria can be used as a physical damage-per-second character whose elemental burst deals Cryo damage to enemies in its range. Lastly,Sayuis a top-tier healer that specializes in Claymore weapon type. Favonius Greatsword and Skyward Pride are recommended to be used on Sayu to create the best healer build.

Phase 2 of the update 3.3 also features three new events -Windtrace, Across the Wilderness, and Ley Line Overflow. Players can take part in the Windtrace games to obtain Primogems and Weapon Ascension Materials between December 26 and January 6. The Across the Wilderness event will run from January 3 through January 13, allowing players to earn Primogems, Talent Level-Up Materials, and Hero’s Wit by collecting as many Wilderness Balloons as possible. Players can also double their rewards in Blossom of Wealth or Blossom of Revelation challenges by consuming original sin during the Ley Line Overflow event, starting on January 9 and ending on January 16.
