One of the best things that Xbox players have going for themselves is the upcoming release ofSenua’s Saga: Hellblade 2. Amid the ongoing console war, it is the one title that many fans are looking forward to experiencing and enjoying.Another element about the game thatGame of Thronesfans are going to like is how the combat system in the game is inspired by one of the battle sequences featured in the series. Apart from the many other factors, this might just be the last straw fans needed to finally add the game to their wishlist.

WhySenua’s Saga: Hellblade 2Is The Perfect Video Game Title For AGame of ThronesFan
Revealing viaGamesradar, Benoit Macon, the combat director revealed how the game’s combat system takes inspiration from one of theGame of Thronesepisodes titled “Battle of The Bastards”. He revealed how it has been an inspiration ever since the beginning and is ultimately the reason why fans are going to love engaging in combat in-game.The episode goes over the character of Jon Snow defeating enemies one after another, and talking about how he took inspiration from the same, Macon said-
“Battle of the Bastards from Game of Thrones was a reference from the beginning. He’s in the middle of this battle and just reacting to everything that is thrown at him. When we started development, our ambition was to recreate that in-game with full control from the player.”

The combat director disclosed how the ultimate goal for the game’s combat system has been always to feel like a recreation of the aforementioned episode from theGame of Thronesseries. Only this time around, the player would have full control of the battle, and he would get the opportunity to enjoy it throughout the play through/
Unfortunately, it will only be the fans who are playing the game on PC that will be able to enjoy the combat experience to its full experience. This is because the console version of the game is going to have a cap on the FPS one can get.

WhySenua’s Saga: Hellblade 2Players On Xbox Will Be Lacking Behind
Following in the footsteps of the recentRedfalltitle,Hellblade 2will be restricting the game forplayers on consoles to only 30 FPS. As confirmed by the VFX director of the game, Mark Slater-Tunstill, the limitation has been put in place to give the game a more ‘cinematic‘ feel, but the fans would beg to differ.
What makes the situation worse is that while there might be Dynamic Resolution, there still will be no availability of other graphic settings that the player can tweak to their wishes and neither a performance mode, which would have allowed for a higher frame rate.Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2is available to pre-order on Steam.
