Fortnitefans were eagerly waiting for the April Fools event to arrive, but they were quite disappointed as the developers didn’t reveal one this year.
Fortniteis one of the most regularly updated games out there with the developers adding new content in the game from time to time. Quite recently, a new season kicked off in the game, and there was a massive surprise waiting for fans all across the world. The developers disabled the building feature in the game, which has been one of its unique aspects since it was launched years ago. Surprisingly, it was well-received by fans and they actually were quite happy with the omission of the mechanic.
In fact, it became so popular that the developers ended up launching a game mode specifically which was centered around no-building. Amidst all that, fans were expecting that Epic Games would organize something, especially for April Fools Day.
Fortnite Fans Angry Over No April Fools Event, State Roblox Is Better
If you play other games, you might be well aware of the fact that all of them are having something or the other around April Fools.Overwatchis bringing back the regular Googly Eyes, whileRobloxdevelopers are doing something or the other in the various games. The same was expected inFortniteas well, but unfortunately, we didn’t have anything this year at all.
This has caused mass outrage onTwitter, with fans being quite angry about the event not being held this time. Fortnite is always at the forefront of celebrating events, and it was quite a surprise that there was no event this year. In fact, many players have gone to the extent of comparing it withRobloxand stating thatRobloxis much better.
It is unknown why Epic didn’t organize an April Fools event. Last year we had a special skin for the event, but the silence from the developers is something nobody would have expected.
