8. Season 3: Splashdown

Coming in at number eight, and easily the worst season ofFortniteChapter 2, is Season 3: Splashdown. The season began on June 17th, 2020 and was thankfully one of the shorter seasons, only lasting for 70 days.

As you may tell by the key art above, Season 3 revolved around water, aquatics, and summer antics. At the beginning of the season, the whole map was engulfed in water but the water level did decrease as the season went on. Pair this with the killer sharks in the water and it made for some of the worst gameplay in any season ofFortnite.

7. Season 2: Top Secret

Chapter 2 didn’t get off to a great start, with Season 2 being next on our list at number seven. Beginning on February 20th, 2020, Season 2 lasted for a total of 118.

Season 2 definitely wasn’t horrendous, but there also wasn’t much to get excited about. Plus, the Battle Pass was a little lacklustre in content, with the only decent skin being the Level 100 Midas Outfit.

6. Season 5: Zero Point

As Chapter 2 progressed, things started to get a little more interesting. Season 5: Zero Point began on December 2nd, 2020 and lasted for 103 days.

Season 5 had an intriguing concept, with plenty of new locations for players to discover too. Following the events of Season 4, Agent Jones attempts to stabilize the Zero Point by bringing together some of the universes best bounty hunters.

5. Season 4: Nexus War

If you’re a Marvel fan, Season 4 of Chapter 2 was the ultimate crossover. The season was a full-on collaboration with Marvel, and featured Iron Man, Groot, Thor, Wolverine, and more arriving on the island.

The Battle Pass was filled with Marvel-themed rewards and skins, and also featured an epic live event where players helped The Avengers take down Galactus in thousands of Stark Industry designed Battle Buses.

4. Season 6: Primal

Season 6 was also one of the game’s shortest seasons, beginning on March 16th and only lasting for 84 days. However, it brought with it plenty of new features, map changes, and a new quest system that is still being used.

The ‘Primal’ theme of the Season saw wild animals roam the island, as well as a new biome to explore and plenty of great Battle Pass rewards to unlock.

3. Season 8: Cubed

Expected to be the last season ofFortniteChapter 2 is Season 8: Cubed. Still currently ongoing, the season will come to an end on December 5th, 2021.

As well as new crossovers with the likes of Marvel’s Venom, fans were also pleased to see the return of Kevin the Cube. Plus plenty of ‘corrupt’ map changes from the new Sideways reality, which made for some new and interesting gameplay changes.

2. Season 1: Drop Into A New World

Season 1, where it all began. Chapter 2 was one of the biggest surprises in the history ofFortnite, and fans were blown away when Chapter 1: Season X ended with the whole map being sucked into a black hole. Players had no idea what was happening and many even began wondering if this was the end ofFortnite.

Clearly, it wasn’t. After 10 seasons, Epic Games decided to mix things up and give us a fresh start with a brand new map, new features such as fishing and swimming, and a complete visual overhaul.

1. Season 7: Invasion

Although the first season of Chapter 2 blew players away, Season 7: Invasion is where the fun was really at. The ‘out of this world’ season began on June 8th, 2021 and was themed around aliens invadingFortnite’sisland.

Plenty of great features were included in Season 7, such as the introduction of Alien Artifacts that were used to unlock new styles for the Kymera Outfit. Plus, plenty of new Alien-themed weapons, and more crossovers. Superman and Rick Sanchez were enlisted to help fight off the Alien Invasion, as well as some other familiar faces.
