The Marvel Cinematic Universe andThe Boysare based on comic books, featuring a plot about ‘superheroes’. Yet, the two universes could not have been more different from each other. While one is made with a vision to provide ‘family entertainment’, the other is strictly 18+ with some scenes being so horrifying that even the strongest of hearts should avoid.

There is no lack of morally ‘improper’ or horrendous scenes inThe Boys, with the Deep’s unusual love story standing out the most. Yet, one deleted scene from Marvel’sThor: Ragnarokis so ‘unusual’ that fans would thank the studio for censoring it as PG-13 and not including that one scene.
Thor: Ragnarok’sDeleted Scene Which is Worse Than Deep & Octopus
The Boysis not afraid of going above and beyond when it comes to showing the most brutal and graphic stuff. It also does not shy away from featuring the most sxual stuff as well. In season 3’s infamousHeogasmepisode, the Amazon show features The Deep having sx with his Ocean wife, aka Ambrosius the octopus. he even asks his human wife, Cassandra, to have s*x with the octopus.
“Focusing too much on grossing us out”: Antony Starr’s Brilliance With Homelander Can’t Hide the Biggest Flaws in The Boys Season 4
While it is disgusting and horrendous to think of such an event, Marvel’sThor: Ragnarokwent a step furtherin a now-deleted scene. The movie features the Valkyrie revealing that the Grandmaster, portrayed byJeff Goldblum, uses his spaceship for ‘o*gies’. We then would have gotten a glimpse of the many uses of the spaceship when Thor and Bruce Banner used it to escape from Sakaar.
As per the deleted scene (viaDaily Motion), Thor clicks on a button on the table in the middle of the ship. The table then proceeds to play a holographic video of the Grandmaster passionately engaged in ‘tentacle s*x’. Fortunately, the scene never made it to the final cut, for if it had been, the scene alone would have made the movie a solid PG-18 instead of its current rating.

The Boys’Deep’s Problematic Obsession with Sea Creatures
The Deep and Ambrosius [Credit:The Boys| Amazon Prime Video]The Boyshas consistently pushed the limits and broken the walls when it comes to featuring the most shocking and horrendous scenes. From featuring theHerogasmepisode to Homelander brutally butchering people, there are no limits to the Amazon show. But its depiction of Deep, portrayed byChace Crawford, and his obsession with aquatic life has shocked many fans.
“We view it as hilarious”: Eric Kripke Calling Hughie’s R*pe Scene as ‘Hilarious’ is a New Low Even for The Boys, Highlights the Plight of Male Sexual Assault Survivors
Even in season two of the series, the character attempted to flirt with a dolphin while he tried to rescue it. However, in season 3 ofThe Boys, the character engages in obscene s*x withhis Octopus wife, which could have easily been termed as a one-event thing given it was happening at Herogasm. Yet, the Deep took a step further when he asked his wife to have a threesome with the sea creature.
This obsession of Deep isn’t just problematic but showcases just how low the character can go. While it might be payback for his s*xual assault against Starlight in season 1, it nonetheless is problematic. As the show progresses, we can’t help but think how low the character will go.

The Boyscan be streamed on Amazon Prime whileThor: Ragnarokcan be streamed on Disney+.
