We’re now on the cusp of our second Pokemon Presents Presentation of the series' 25th anniversary year.
Following Feburary’s showing, which revealed a brand new title and a remake, The Pokemon Company is holding another event this Wednesday, August 18.

While the presentation was revealed on Twitter suggesting the presentation would focus solely onPokémon Legends: Arceus,Pokémon Brilliant DiamondandShining Pearl, theofficialPokemonwebsitehas an interesting “and more”.
So, with some vague details in mind, here are five predictions we have for the August Pokemon Presents Presentation.

We Get Another Pokemon Spinoff Revival Announcement
According to Nintendo’s recentInvestor Relations Report, New Pokemon Snap sold over 2 million copies in under three months. Not a bad return for a series that’s been absent since the N64.
With such an exciting back catalogue of games, it would make sense that The Pokemon Company and Nintendo may be scheming about reviving some other long-dormant titles.

I think for me,Pokemon Pinballis the ultimate choice, however, I feel like the safest bet would be a brand newPokemon Stadiumgame - complete with a wide array of minigames.
Paid Pokemon Snap DLC is Teased
It was only this month that we were treated to some newPokemon SnapDLC. The content added three new areas and a total of 20 new Pokemon which was great, however, there is so much scope for more.
The game currently plays host to just over 200 Pokemon, meaning that there are another 600+ that aren’t in the game.

With just how wellNew Pokemon Snaphandled things, it’s hard to imagine that more DLC wouldn’t be welcomed and there’s certainly a lot they could do with it.
Pokemon Sleep Wakes Up
It’s now been over two years sincePokemon Sleepwas announcedand it wouldn’t be a proper Pokemon Presents Presentation predictions if we didn’t talk about this for the August showcase.
The game was supposed to combine sleeping with gameplay in order to promote healthy living, much likePokemon Smileand alsoPokemon GO.

However, in the two years that have passed, news about the game has gone exceptionally quiet - now has to be the right time to update fans or people will really start to question whether the game will ever see the light of day.
Pokemon Legends Arceus is Delayed Until April
The Pokemon Company is being fairly ambitious planning to release two majorPokemontitles within a couple of months of each other and I feel like something may have to give.
TheDiamond and Pearlremakes are locked in for their holiday releases and will sell bucketloads, meaning if my theory is correct,Pokemon Legends Arceuswould be the one getting pushed.
Moving it into April would mean it would release in a new financial year, which may not be a bad thing as the company would have already had NewPokemon Snap, Pokemon Uniteand the remakes release in the previous financial year.
We Get a Sales Pitch for The Switch OLED
When the Switch OLED was announced, players got a glimpse of the updatedDiamond and Pearlremake’s graphics.
It’s likely that during the presentation, we’ll get a deeper dive into these, as well as Nintendo telling us why we need the latest iteration of its hybrid console.
