When preparing to leave Under Junon and head to Junon, players will get a warning message that says it will be some time before they can return to Under Junon, with the Grasslands also included. Just how long will it be until players can return to these regions?

When Can Players Return To Under Junon
Players will need tocomplete the next three chapters of the main storybefore they can return to Under Junon, with players able toreturn to these regions at the start of Chapter 7. While there will be some semblance of free roam and exploration throughout the next few chapters, they will be much more linear, with players only really able to explore a few towns while the story progresses.
Due to the more linear style for the next three chapters, players canexpect about 5 or 6 hours of gameplay before being able to free-roam in those previous regions.Chapter 6 will be the beginning events at Costa Del Sol, and players will need to complete those missions before the region opens up for free-roaming, along with the ability to return toUnder Junonand The Grasslands.

Afterbeginning Chapter 7 and havingYuffie join the party,the main events of Costa Del Sol will be finished, and players can return to the previous regions. To do so,return to the docs where the Shinra-8 is currently docked and take the ship back to Under Junon.From there, players will need to utilize the Chocobo Carriage to travel further back to the Grasslands if they want.
