Finding Izo
After accepting the quest from the job board in town, players will need to either travel or fast-travel north to find Izo. It’s easiest to firstfast-travel north to get to his cabin as large hills will block any direct pathfrom the city to the cabin. After meeting Izo and accepting his request, head to his shed near his home to find thevarious pictures leading to the Draconite Ore’s location.
Where To Find Draconite Ore
Players are able to follow the photos in order to find the Ore, but it will require some guesswork. Each photo only shows so much, and players will need tocontinueheading in the directionof the arrow from the most recent photoin order to find the landmark in the next photo. For those looking for a more direct path to the Ore, simplyhead west along the road without crossing the river,with the ore deposits being straight west through the winding mountains from Izo’s shed.
The Ore itself will be found along thebase of the hill with a rope being to the left of the first two deposits.Climb the rope and explore the top of the hill to find the remaining deposits. All deposits are fairly easy to find except for the one near the rope that willrequire players to climb the smaller rock face on the leftin order to find a piece of Ore.

How To Defeat Daggerwings
Upon finding the first two Draconite Ore, players will beambushed by five Daggerwings.These creatures have a decent health bar despite being flying enemies and areweak to wind.Be sure to bring a spell caster and enough MP to continuously cast Aero to pressure the enemies and try to knock them out of the sky. As this mission revolves around him,Barret is a solid option for this fight as long as he has a Wind Materia equipped.Completing this quest will giveBarret a powerful weapon, along with relationship status for him, XP andParty XP.
