Items work in a similar manner,being used in or out of combat,with there also being a few items that can be used to restore MP.With Gil,it can be fairly easy to come by; a smart strategy is tostock up on large quantities of low-level potions and higher-level potionsbased on where you’re at in the game. Base potions can be bought for cheap andused as many times as needed outside of combatas many times as needed to get the full party to maximum health.
Also, havinghigher-strength potions is useful in combat, as it will save the party’s MPfor focusing on spells while still healing the party a large amount. Due to the length and difficulty of some linear sections of the game, having a large supply of potions is always a good optionbefore leaving a region.
