This weapon’s unique ability is Blindside, a fairly powerful attack that offers less overall damage than most of her others. The benefit of this skill is the ability to use it when immobilized or reeling. The issue with that bonus is it requires the player not to dominate the fight and comes from a defensive angle as opposed to Yuffie’s aggressive play style.
6Crescent Sickle
A Slightly Stronger Weapon With A Strong Throw
The Crescent Sickle also has a focus on Magic Attack, while also offering much higher overall stats from the Savage Dagger. This weapon also comes with five total Materia slots, with four of them being connected.
This weapon’s unique ability is Shooting Star, which has Yuffie throwing the weapon across the battlefield to hit any enemies in its path. This ability is also very situational and won’t always be useful when needing to line up enough enemies to make it more effective. While it has more uses than Blindside, it won’t have as many uses as later abilities.

The 4-Point Shuriken is Yuffie’s starting weapon and is perfectly balanced between Attack and Magic Attack. This weapon is only held back in that its overall stats don’t compare to later weapons found throughout the game.
The 4-Point Shuriken’s unique ability is Elemental Ninjutsu, which sets an element for her attacks to utilize in targeting a weakness. This is very versatile and won’t require MP to hit elemental weaknesses and help Yuffie specialize at damaging enemies.

The Twin Viper is only fairly powerful in terms of base stats, with its bigger focus being on Attack over Magic. It doesn’t have the highest total stats and only three total Materia slots without any connections.
What makes this weapon so powerful is its unique ability Windstorm. Windstorm has a very high damage output and hits a wide area of foes. This ability also moves enemies around and pulls them towards Yuffie, if they even survive the initial gust of powerful wind.
