Landing on The Shadow Coast in the Ash Deadlands, The Kingdom of Waloed greets you with cold mountainous terrain. Fallen castles, dead trees, and the abandoned village of Wolfdarr set the tone for this bleak and dying land. Filled with feral monsters and aether-infused Akashic, the Ash Deadlands is no place for civilized folk.
While the Ash Deadlands are technically part of The Kingdom of Waloed, these lands have been forsaken by the king and his people. Many of the quests that take place in Rosaria will take you through Martha’s Rest, and you’ll be glad that they did. This village has interesting characters and a 360 view that will please you whenever you return.

5The Kingdom Of Waloed
On the eastern continent of Ash, The Kingdom of Waloed is the last surviving nation of the land. Slowly being overrun by the Blight creeping in from the south, The Kingdom of Waloed has abandoned cities, settlements, and production facilities. The Akashic have claimed the mining settlement in Eistla, the Great Southern Gate, and pretty much anywhere else they wish.
While mines lay empty, fortresses stand unguarded, and defensives are left to rot, the wandering monsters and aether-infected Akashic will slow your path through this region. Although there’s very little life left in the area, the powerful structures, dormant catapults, and empty houses will make you think about what this region used to look like when it was booming.
