FIFA 22 title update 17 (update 1.19 in PS4/PS5) is now live on all consoles and you will need to download and install the latest patch before you can continue playing the game.
With FIFA 23 arriving next month, this might be the final update that FIFA 22 receives before the full migration of the development and support team to the next entry.
Today’s update will only apply a bunch of minor fixes to Ultimate Team and Pro Clubs modes as well as updating a number of kits in the game. With this patch, you will increase fewer stability issues when joining or leaving a FUT Co-op lobby. Also, the developers have fixed a UI issue with the Squad menu in Pro Clubs.

Keep in mind that this update has already been launched on PC and Stadia versions of FIFA 22. So, if you are playing on PC, you won’t receive any updates today.
FIFA 22 is almost at the end of its life cycle, and the game doesn’t receive any significant content update in the Ultimate Team mode as most players are looking forward to a demo of FIFA 23 as well as its early access version to arrive later in September 2022.
FIFA 23 is supposed to be the last game in the series to be published with such a name, as Electronic Arts will be changing the franchise’s name to EA Sports FC next year. Hopefully, the deal with FIFA still covers the World Cup 2022 tournament, and it will be fully licensed in FIFA 23, but it remains unknown whether EA would be able to license the future World Cup tournaments or not.
Last year, FIFA revealed that they might start investing in a new sports game, but it remains unknown whether they would be making a new title on their own, or will come to an agreement with other developers such as Konami.
