There are a lot of collectible strands inFar Cry 5. Destroyablecultproperties will pop up on your map for you to earn resistance points, while some collectibles like the comic books are tied to a side quest.

To begin with, you’ll need to track down the quest giver for Golden Age Nostalgia where she will then task you with finding all 12 of the comic books. This is one of the higher numbers for the game’s collectibles, but if you already know where they are, you’ll be able to grab them in no time.
Nadine Abercrombie
To startGolden Age Nostalgia, you’ll need to head to theDodd Residenceand speak with Nadine Abercrombie.
Nadine lives alone in this residence and notably has blue hair, so she should be easy for you to spot from the other NPCs. The comic books belonged to her grandfather, who sold them, and Nadine regrets this on his behalf and says she’ll pay you to retrieve them.The comic books will spawn before talking with her,but you should still speak with her first as her guidance can help you grab the comics much faster.
Once the quest has started,you can buy a map of the comic book locations at any shop for 1,200 dollars,essentially 100 dollars per comic.Any shop means any shop, so you can buy it from a settlement or from a random hunter in the woods. Everyone knows where these comics are. 1,200 is a lot, and likely too much for new save files, and you can save your character’s money by seeing those same map icons just below.

John’s Region
The first comic book for John’s Region will be found just down the road from Nadine at a location called theBoyd Residence.There’s nothing to do besides walk through the front door and find this comic sitting on a bed next to a bow. It should be noted that this comic book is the only one where you will get a marker even without buying the map, as Nadine will tell you about it when you start the quest, which means you still would need to speak with Nadine before unlocking this marker.
Bradbury Farmis your next location and will be easy to spot on the map asit’s near a field with a symbol.There’s nothing too strange about the retrieval,just walk inside the farmhouse and jump up some crates to find the comic on a mattress in the attic.
Parker Laboratoriesholds comic number 3. Just head through the front door and the comic will be on a desk right in front of you.
Faith’s Region
Faith’s Region, the Henbane River, has the most comic books at a total of 6. The first comic is located atO’Hara’s Haunted House.The front door is stuck shut, so you’ll have toclimb up at the back and walk over to the scaffolding to enter the open window.Once inside, you’ll find the comic on a mattress.
There’s no trickery for the second comic atBoshaw Manor,you’ll be able to just walk through the front door and find the comic sitting on a nightstand.
Head to theVasquez Residenceto find the third comic book for Henbane River. It’s sitting on the couch right next to the remote.
Speaking of TV, the fourth comic will be right beside one atPeachesTaxidermy,home of Peaches the Cougar.There’s a shack just in front of the large taxidermy building, and you’ll want to head in there for the comic.
And speaking of cougars, the fifth comic book will be found on the ground next to a tent atCamp Cougars.
The final comic book hiding in Faith’s Region will be just south of the statue of Joseph andAngel’s Peak.Out of all the markers unlocked from buying the map, this is the hardest one to spot, so even if you do buy the map, check here if you have trouble tracking a final one down.
Jacob’s Region
TheMcNeill Residenceover in Jacob’s region likely saw better days, as the owner has completely boarded the place up and is nowhere to be seen. There is a boarded windowat the backthat can be broken with a melee attack, which will allow you to get inside and find the comic book on the bathroom sink.
TheElliot Residenceis also pretty secure, but not to the same level.You can just jump up the side here to get to the open window.Once inside, the second comic book will be next to a lamp on an ammo case.
The last comic in Jacob’s Region, and the last comic in total, is found atJefferson Lookout Tower.This one won’t be boarded up, just walk up the tower stairs and find the comic on a table near some blood and money.
Returning To Nadine
Head back to Nadine, who will still be at the Dodd Residence, to sell the comic books back to her. You’ll get a good deal of money and resistance points, as well as the satisfaction of crossing off one of the collectibles strands.
