“This psychotic example, a physical example that I have now, that I have to do to learn my lines,”Pascal explained, displaying pages of incomprehensible scrawls representing his script lines.

Though abstract to outsiders, this elaborate ritual helps Pascal thoroughly imprint dialogue after an early acting trauma left him scarred.
Pascal looked back on an early acting job where he failed to properly learn his lines.
