The first time you play Exoprimal, you will find out that there are multiple Exosuits to choose from, each with certain advantages and disadvantages on the battlefield. Although all of this eventually depends on the role you will play in the team, some Exosuits might serve you and your team better than others in the end.

Each Exosuit in Exoprimal has its unique use cases as some of them offer better performance in PvP battles, while some others are great with PvE crowd-control. So, while giving you an idea of the best Exosuits, we will also tell you about the best use cases for each one.
13Witchdoctor
Witchdoctor is by far the best healer in Exoprimal and every team needs to have one. Of all its abilities, only the basic attack is capable of dealing damage to enemies, which is relatively minimal. So, playing as Witchdoctor mostly requires you to follow your teammates and heal them whenever they run low on health.
While Witchdoctor is essential for every team in Exoprimal, especially in PvP battles, the gameplay loop might not be fun enough for all players, as the action part is significantly minimal compared to the other Exosuits.

12Murasame
Murasame is a great melee damage dealer thanks to its sharp katana, but unlike Roadblock and Krieger, it doesn’t really have anything to help its team other than killing the dinosaurs. Murasame is still a reliable crowd-control unit, but it can’t deploy any shields for its teammates.
Players who pick Murasame might need yet another Tank unit if they to engage in a PvP battle. Murasame’s ultimate is also a bit lackluster, as it only damages enemies in front of itself rather than dealing radial damage. So, it will only work well for bosses rather than swarming dinosaurs. Needless to say that Murasame is quite vulnerable to any aerial threat.

When it comes to controlling crowded scenes from a safe distance, Barrage is the best Exosuit to wear. Thanks to its explosive projectiles, Barrage can damage multiple dinosaurs while keeping its distance from them. The suit is also capable of trapping dinosaurs by setting flaming bombs and detonating them when it’s time to set fire to the enemies.
Barrage is not that powerful against flying dinosaurs as it is pretty difficult to hit them with a grenade launcher. Still, the Exosuit’s ultimate ability is capable of damaging any type of dinosaur as it turns you into a flaming rocket and lets you explode wherever you want.

As your starter Exosuit in Exoprimal, Deadeye is a capable suit for dealing with both PvP and PvE situations. However, it is not the best option for crowd control or defeating bosses and mini-bosses. Deadeye’s primary weapon is an assault rifle that needs reloading pretty often. Still, the fact that you can land shots at the exact point you want makes it an ideal weapon to eliminate flying dinosaurs and opposing Exofighters.
Deadeye’s ultimate ability is quite powerful as it clears an enormous flood of Raptors or other smaller dinosaur types in a blink of an eye. Deadeye’s “E” ability is also quite effective when on Area Defense missions, as it can push back a swarm to give your team more time to wipe them out.

9Roadblock
Roadblock is the first Tank Exosuit and the best one for dealing with any kind of ground force. Roadblock is an incredible crowd-control unit, thanks to its powerful melee attacks. This suit’s ultimate ability creates a giant tornado around the player, continuously damaging any dinosaur around it for a significant time.
The only downside to Roadblock is its pure vulnerability against flying dinosaurs. Although you may jump and perform melee attacks, they won’t be effective enough to kill loads of flying threats. That being said, you can still carry Rigs such as Laser Cannon to use on flying enemies occasionally, but that will not entirely fill the gap.

Krieger is the only ranged damage dealer in the Tank category, and it possesses a powerful set of weapons to destroy enemies while protecting allies. While Krieger’s machine gun takes a bit longer to cool down, its spherical shield is great for keeping allies safe against any kind of threat, especially during the PvP battles.
The ultimate ability of Kriger allows it to set a radius, within which a bombardment will happen, heavily damaging all the enemies inside it. Kriger is the only Tank that can effectively damage flying dinosaurs and even shoot missiles at them.
What makes Skywave a pretty balanced character is the fact that its basic attack can damage enemies and heal allies at the same time. So, whenever your shot hits enemies, not only it damages them but also creates a small radius and heals any ally inside it. So, you’re able to easily support your melee damage dealers with Skywave while also helping them with killing the dinosaurs.
Skywave also has the ability to go up in the air and fly for a significant amount of time, which makes it capable of staying away from all ground threats while healing and damaging enemies. Its ultimate is also a special power that freezes every enemy inside a certain radius of Skywave for a short period.
