Adding a brand new zone to the map, Blackwood brings in a swampy and dangerous environment with nine new treasure maps and many other gameplay features.
How to Recruit Companions
The ESO Blackwood Companions areAI-controlled alliesthat will help you out in your adventure, especially in combats. Currently, there are two companions available in the Blackwood zone in The Elder Scrolls Online that you can recruit.

After completing the required quest of each companion, you will be able to recruit it through the Allies tab in the Collectibles category of the Collections menu.
You can summon your companions almost anywhere in Tamriel, but there are some exceptions for this. The companions cannot follow you into PvP or Solo areas. Also, you cannot summon them in population-limited instances such as dungeons.
How to Upgrade Companions
Talking to companions using the dialogue system will open up a bunch of opportunities to get to know more about his/her backstory. It also brings up the combat and customization options of the companion.
There is a fellowship meter between you and your companion. Talking to the companion, taking him/her to adventures, and customizing him/her will increase the fellowship between you and your friend.
The high rate of companion fellowship will increase your AI friend’s effectiveness and unlock some personal quests.
