The Mechanic’s Saving The Mole quest has multiple tasks, but the final goal of this mission is to find and loot a data drive for the trade and extract it successfully. Previously, we managed to find the dead USEC PMC units in the parking lot of Terragroup Headquarters.

Hopefully, the next parts of the quest are supposed to happen in the same area, which means you’re able to do it all in one or two runs rather than deploying another time for each task. So, without further ado, let’s get into the action!

Saving The Mole - Lab Scientist Location On Ground Zero
You need to get inside theTerragroup Headquartersbuilding, which is located at the center of the map and is quite distinguished from all other buildings. The fastest way to find the scientist is to go through the park andmain entrance, but you may also sneak in from the parking lot in the left wing of the building.
Either way, you need to reach themain lobbyof the building, where you may spota door leading to a back corridor. Get inside and search fora dead scientist’s corpsein the dark corridor. Loot the corpse toget the keyto the scientist’s office. Proceeding this far will complete the objective of locating the lab scientist in the Saving The Mole quest.
However, if you already have the next steps of the quest as well, you are close enough to get it done. Return to themain lobbyand use thestairs next to the same dooryou went through earlier to go to the upper floor. Here, you need to look fora door marked No. 4. You can easily find No. 3 as soon as you go upstairs, and luckily, door No. 4 is right next to it.
Use the key to open the door and get inside the office. Here, you should look fora data driveand loot it. The drive is usually on the middle desk with working monitors. All you need to do now is to extract. Keep in mind that the data drive will not be visible in your inventory, as it automatically transfers into your Quest Inventory, which can be seen in the Tasks tab of your character on the main menu.
