With the latest wipe inEscape From Tarkov, every player starts their experience from scratch, and that means they need to begin all the quests from the very first one, including some of the new quests that introduce the new map, Ground Zero, to all players.

In between the players are also required to unlock access to Jaeger, one of the latest traders in the game, once more. While the core mission to unlock Jaeger is the same as before, the requirements to get that mission have been changed.
How To Unlock Jaeger’s Mission
Before you can unlock Jaeger, you will need tocomplete theSaving The Molemissionfor Mechanic. This mission includes four major steps, which in the end require you to extract with a data drive. As soon as you complete this mission, you should start climbing in Character ranks and reach a rank above 2, which is not a big deal at all.
Now, you can receive theGunsmith Part 1 quest from Mechanic. As soon as you accept this quest, Mechanic will also have another quest available, named"Introduction". Upon completing the Introduction, you will be able to unlock Jaeger.
How To Complete The Introduction Mission
This mission requires you to exploreWoodsand findJaeger’s camp. This camp is indeed locatednext to the crashed airplanein Woods. We will explain the location of the plane later in this guide. Once you find the airplane, you need toturn left up to 45 degrees from the plane’s nose, and you will spot asmall wooden structure, which is Jaeger’s camp. The encrypted message is a letter dropped beneath the wooden structure, but due to thesnowy weatherof the map at the moment, it’shardly spotable. So, we suggest you crouch next to the camp and look beneath it until your cursor highlights the letter. You need to successfully extract the letter to be able to give it to the Mechanic. Keep in mind that the letter will be stored in your Quest Items slot, which is not visible through the Inventory panel.
Where To Find Jaeger’s Camp
As we said earlier, the location of the camp is strictly tied to the location of the crashed airplane, which can be found on the southeastern side of the map,between the huge mountain and the Factory Gateextraction point. If you start moving from the Factory Gate towards the big mountain in the middle (where the Mountain Stash extraction point is located)in a straight line, you will have a high chance of reaching the crashed airplane or at least its detached parts on the ground, which will eventually lead you to the plane’s tale. This is the easiest path to find the camp with no need for a map, but you may also use the third-party map of Woods on the internet to have a better understanding of the location.
