One of those carriages carries a massive mace-like weapon known as the Great Stars. This larger weapon is able to causebleed-buildup, which is one of thegreatest and most damaging status effectsin the game when used correctly. Here’s where to find the Great Stars to find and use yourself.

Where To Find The Great Stars
There are two ways to find the Great Stars, both beinglocated at the Altus Plateau. The first location is in a carriage traveling southwest through the Altus Plateau northern area. Start from either theBridge of Iniquityandfollow the road northeastor start from theRoad Of Iniquity Side Pathsites of grace andfollow the road southwest. Whichever way you choose, the carriage will be located along the path and pulled by two giants, making it easy to spot from a distance.
The second location is through defeating an NPC sign. The summons sign is located within theruins along the southern side of the roadwhere the carriage is being pulled down.Using a Festering Bloody Finger,you will invadethe NPC’s world. Now in his world, you’ll see Magnus The Beast Claw, wielding the Great Stars and a sacred seal heuses to cast beastial incantations. Defeating Magnus will have him drop the Great Stars along with a few other items.
How To Use The Great Stars
The Great Starsrequire 22strengthand 12dexterityto wield. As this weapon is upgraded, it will eventually begin to scale more off of your strength stat, and with its size is perfect for slower but heavier-hitting strength builds. This weapon doesphysical striking damageand can be buffed and given elemental affinities withmagicand items. This weapon comes with theskill Endure,making it a perfect weapon for taking hits and focusing on offensive attacks. This weaponcan be infused withAshes of Warto switch up its use to match your play style.
What makes the Great Stars sopowerful is itsbleed buildupand health steal ability. This is a hidden ability not listed, but every successful attack with this weapon regenerates1% of your total HP.While a single percent may not seem like much on paper, this percentage will bemore effective with a higher vigorstat, making it even more potent. Elden Ring is also a game where every bit of health counts, and in a heavy offensive build, this weapon will slowly but surely keep you healed. Adding in its bleed effect, this weapon is theperfect option for any strength build.
