Given that the COVID-19 pandemic has cancelled or outright postponed most of 2020’s major in-person events or gatherings, the upcomingPAX Onlineis aiming to bring the gaming community together virtually this coming September. In lieu of previously-planned events like PAX Australia and PAX West, PAX Online will bring the best of the gaming industry to everyone at home, from game showcases, to panels, to community events, and much more.

For this year’s PAX OnlineDualShockerswill be hosting two panels during the event, which is running from September 12-20, 2020. Doing what we know best, both of our panels will tap into what we love talking about (games) and what we’re best at (arguing about them and giving our hot takes).

Both of our panels will be taking place on Monday, September 14 and will be streamed on PAX’s official Twitch channel (we’ll be on PAX2), and you can take a look below to find out more about them. It’s safe to say if you love either the N64 or thePersonaseries as much as we do, we hope you’ll have a good time and join us to watch along.

What Do We Want to See FromPersona 6?

From its deep dungeon-crawling gameplay to navigating the day-to-day life of a Japanese teenager, thePersonaseries has gone from a cult JRPG series to a major worldwide hit. With the success ofPersona 5, we’re looking ahead to see how Atlus’ beloved JRPG franchise can take things even further in its next installment. What exactly do we want to see fromPersona 6? Our panelists will take a look at the longtime traditions of the JRPG series and its ties toShin Megami Tensei, while also examining how its more recent installments have managed to take this initial spinoff series and gave it an identity of its own.

Building Our N64 Classic Console

The N64 is considered to have ushered in Nintendo’s era of 3D gaming, and some of the best games of all-time have been released for it. FromSuper Mario 64, toThe Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time– we debate the 10 games that should make up the N64 Classic, if Nintendo ever decides to actually make one. This isn’t the definitive list of the top 10 games on the system, but a mixture of the best games from different genres that would make it the complete package.

PAX Online will be running from September 12-20, 2020, and stay tuned for our upcoming panels at the show. We’ll update this page and add the Twitch stream for the panels on September 14, along with VODs shortly after they air.

UPDATE: In case you missed either of the panels, you can find the VODs for both of our PAX Online panels above!
