DD2has all sorts of unique NPCs that players can come across throughout the world, mostly found in cities. Unlike other major RPGs, NPCs can be killed off by monsters raiding the city or the game’s unique Dragonsplague condition.

Where To Find Roger
Upon firstentering Bakbattahl,Roger is found in a single location and won’t move until his side quest is completed. To find him, head furthereast into the city and take the third right turn to face an ally that leads to The Wanderer’s Haven.Before approaching the Tavern, be sure to heal up and check your gear at the blacksmith of this town; asapproaching, Roger will immediately begin his quest and a subsequent fight.After his side quest is complete,Roger can be found wandering Bakbattahl,normally towards the western entrance of town.

Welcome To Battahl
Upon approaching Roger, thequest Welcome To Battahl will begin.He will first havethree of his men try to fight the Arisen alone without your Pawn’s help.The results of this quest vary depending on how well you fight. After taking enough hits in the three-on-one, a Sellsword named Raghnall will step in and turn the fight into a one-on-one. Should youcontinue to lose the fight, Raghnall will concede the fight on the player’s behalf.
Winning the one-on-one will reward8,5000 Goldand Fruit Wine.Losing both fights andconceding will cause the player to lose up to 3,000 Gold,with all three results completing the quest andgiving some XP.
