What Is Dragonsplague

Dragonsplague is areal disease thatany Pawncan get, with it passing randomly to another Pawn in the party or progressing within the original Pawn. There’sno simple way of identifying if one of your Pawns has it.The disease doesn’t spread, and more so transfers from one Pawn to another, with passing it curing the original host.

Despite the hidden and difficult-to-understand nature of this disease, it can beincredibly dangerous and may end up with dozens of NPCs killed in a townif left untreated.Dragonsplague originally comes from Pawns fighting Drakes, and close contact may result in natural Dragonsplague, with them being summoned to another world, transferring the infection.

How To Identify Dragonsplague

Pawns affected by Dragonsplague will becomemore agitated and won’t listen to the Arisen’s commands.Always listen to what your Pawns say as they talk while exploring, asthose afflicted by Dragonsplague will be more aggressive, taunting, and less devotedto the Arisen. Pawns may also mention how they are not feeling well, indicating that Dragonsplague has already progressed to a potentially dangerous level.

To further help identify Dragonsplague, constantly issue your Pawns commands in combat and watch to make sure all obey. Shouldone not obey, be sure to make a note and begin treatment right away. While not a negative effect, Pawn’s affected by Dragonsplague will also perform better in combat, dealing more damage with every attack.

The Warfarer is the best Vocation in Dragon’s Dogma 2; here’s how to get Newt Liqueur and unlock it.

How To Treat Dragonsplague

Should a summoned Pawn be afflicted with Dragonsplague, dismiss them right away.Be sure in that time before you dismiss them they don’t pass it on to your main Pawn, as curing them is much more difficult.

Should your main Pawn be afflicted, theonly way to cure them is to pass the disease along to another Pawn or death.Passing the disease along is risky, as it doesn’t always happen, and leaving an infected in your party increases the chances of the disease progressing. The other option is death, not just going down, but complete death.Should your main Pawn fully die, they can easily berespawned at anyRiftstone, but this is, unfortunately, the only sure cure for Dragonsplague.
