You can even do this with quest items if you wish, which can help you through quests that require the same items.
However, there’s a catch to duplicating items. The first thing is that thename will be altered when forged. This can make it easy for others to notice when an item is inauthentic. The duplicate may also not be as potent or retain the same magical attributes as the original.
Then there are items that will duplicate for you but lose all their worth and be ultimately useless. With some items, you’ll even receive two duplicates back. You can find theSuspicious Scrap StoreinCheckpoint Rest Town, which is to the west of Vernworth. To get here, you can either walk or take the designated Oxcart from Vernworth. You’re able to travel there pretty early on in the game, though you won’t really have anything worthwhile to duplicate early on.
