Dragon Ballcharacters aren’t simply a visual display that fans have adored over the years. It’s their voice that matters too. The upcoming Bandai Namco game just dropped a new trailer and its fine as far as the visuals are concerned.

But then there’s the voice that remains concerning for the fans. They highlighted that Cell and Gohan’s voices feel weird and are almost convinced that they have heard them inKai.Kaiwas a remastered and recut version of the series that wasn’t really liked by fans.

But there was something offbeat; the voices of the characters featured weren’t really likeable, just likeKaiwasn’t likeable.
Good trailer, but what happened to Cell perfect form voice ?? Doesn’t much sound like the Voice from the original Dragon Ball Z. Also just don’t like Gohan’s voice. I know it’s from Dragon Ball Z Kai just prefer the original.

Another fan believes that its simply a matter of age and that voice artists are getting old.
I think the VAs just getting old, it’s been decades since the original dub.

That makes sense but no matter what, fans would still prefer to hear the original voices they grew up listening to.
Others Are Getting Their Voices Back, At Least That’s What the Trailers Show
The ultimate supervillain was dubbed by a couple of voice actors, given that there were a couple of versions of the series. Dameon Clarke was behind the famous voice. However, theKaiversion was something fans never admired.
Similarly, Teen Gohan inDragon Ballwas voiced by different actors, but Colleen Clinkenbeard was liked more by the fans. The child version of him was voiced by Stephanie Nadolny, which is by farone of the most popular in the series.

While we may not get to hear the original voices that are adored by the fans, other characters, including Goku, Vegeta, Frieza, and more, will be retaining their voices.
The game has a release date of June 07, 2025, where it is expected by the fans to see the roster getting all the characters as they witness more trailers. The battles in the game already feel like watching episodes of anime. Original voice lines would just add to the realism.
