Dragon Ball DAIMAhas been continuing at a pretty good pace with an intriguing plot. Goku is on a voyage to defeat Gomah and is accompanied by Glorio, Shin, and Panzy. The journey has been interesting so far, but dark, foreboding clouds are suddenly emerging around the corners.
While everyone in the series is pretty straightforward about what they want, one of them isn’t convincing anybody with his act. The character in question is Glorio, whose intentions seem quite unsavory in the latest episodes ofDragon Ball DAIMA.
Glorio Might Turn Out to be the DarkestDragon Ball DAIMACharacter
In the latest episode ofDragon Ball DAIMA,Glorio seems to be more mysterious than usual. He has always been a cryptid character who showed little to no emotions coupled with an overly serious attitude. Glorio was able to travel between the demon worlds despite the restriction laws. He had initially claimed that Goku’s presence was requested by King Kadan, but Kadan later revealed that Kadan had no idea about the Z Warriors. In fact, it was Glorio who had suggested them.

Glorio also answers Shin’s questions quite vaguely in the anime. However, his connection with Dr. Arinsu is too suspicious to be ignored. Dr. Arinsu is a Glind from the Demon Realm who has also been described as a mad scientist. She is also one of the major antagonists ofDragon Ball DAIMA,who is in leagues with Gomah but is also treacherous.
Inepisode 6, Glorio contacted Dr. Arinsu and confirmed that things were going according to plan. It is entirely possible that Glorio was either created by Dr. Arinsu or was experimented on by her. Glorio’s magic was unlike anything seen in the Demon Realm, and even Panzy admitted it. He is also subservient to Arisu and frowned when Shin and Panzy were talking about her. In the upcoming episodes, Glorio might betray Goku to serve his own purpose.

Glorio stated that hebrought Goku simply to defeat Gomah.But that is clearly just a made-up goal to derail Goku and Shin’s attention from what he really wants. Glorio brought Goku to the Demon Realm due to the orders he received from Dr. Arinsu. Despite traveling together, he has been pretty detached from the rest of the team, talking only when necessary.
As the anime progresses, Glorio might betray Goku and hand him over whenever he sees fit. However, Glorio does not seem like a bad guy at heart, and whatever he is doing seems to be due to his circumstances forcing him. Once the series reaches Glorio’s backstory, it will be clear why and what he is tasked to do.

On the other hand, there is a possibility of Glorio returning to help Goku when the latter is in dire need. After all, who wouldn’t be charmed by a pint-sized man who keeps mispronouncing your name? But Goku’s selfless charm might get to him at some point as Glorio realizes that he needs to side with the right people.
