Epic Game Store’s latest offerings for this week are now live and after a last-minute change, we are finally getting A Plague’s Tale Innocence and Minit as the free games.
In the past few months, Epic Games has been on a roll, giving away tons of free games ranging from indies to some AAAs. One of the biggest giveaways on the platform was GTA 5, which was claimed by numerous players.
This week’s offerings were changed at the very end, with Speed Brawl being replaced by Minit. The other game, A Plague Tale: Innocence, wasn’t changed.
Developed by Asobo Studio and published by Focus Home Interactive, A Plague Tale: Innocence was released back in 2019. The game managed to garner a lot of attention because of its narrative and gameplay, and was widely acclaimed by both fans and critics alike.
As the game has become free to play now, many players are trying it out now and are wondering about certain aspects of it.
Does A Plague Tale: Innocence Have Online Multiplayer Coop?
Much like games like God of War and The Last of Us, players will witness two protagonists while playing A Plague Tale: Innocence. One might wonder whether an online multiplayer coop is available for the game, given that it has two characters.
Unfortunately, that is not possible. Amicia is the main protagonist in the game and there is no way to play the game in coop mode. The game is popular described as a “single-player coop” game, with the phrase being self-explanatory for the multiplayer aspects of the game.
Does It Support Splitscreen?
Just like online, there is no way to play the game on LAN as well. So if you are looking to play A Plague Tale: Innocence on split-screen, there is no workaround for that as well. As things stand, the game is strictly a single-player game with no multiplayer features at all.
