Each season ofDestiny 2brings with it a brand-new set of seasonal Artifact Mods. There are 25 Artifact Mods in total out of which players can equip 12 at a time. These Artifact Mods include anti-champion mods as well as mods that greatly influence a certain aspect of the sandbox.

This is beneficial as it allows players to run Stasis, Solar, and Strand weapons at the same time without the worry of generating Orbs of Power. It overall provides much more flexibility and variety in the weapon options.

Blast Radius focuses on generating Armor Charge by getting rapid final blows with Grenade Launcher or Rocket Launchers. Grenade Launchers include bothSpecial Ammo and Heavy Ammo Grenade Launchers.

Rapid final blows are extremely easy to get with Rocket Launchers and Grenade Launchers and hence Blast Raidus can easily be used to get Armor Charge quickly. Armor Charges are really important in the current sandbox as they are used in build crafting for extra ability energy and damage.

Unravelling Orbs focuses on the Strand subclass and the subclass verb Unravel. Unravel is a debuff that allows enemies affected by it to take additional damage thanks to the Unraveled projectiles that are created when the enemy is further damaged.

More Scorch Effect

Kindling Trigger is a Solar Artifact Mod that focuses on theSolar subclass verb Scorch. It works as long as you have Radiant applied to you, you can Scorch combatants by using your Solar weapons.

This Artifact Mod does not even require you to be on the Solar subclass, you can apply Scorch as long as you have Radiant and a Solar weapon equipped. This mod synergises extremely well with another Artifact Mod called Flint Striker.

Pillar of Ice is a Stasis Artifact Mods that focuses on Stasis Crystals generation. Stasis Crystals are one of the most important tools for the Stasis subclass. It provides crowd control, extra damage as well and damage resistance based on the subclass Fragments you are using.

Pillar of Ice works by that whenever you defeat a frozen combatant you create a Stasis Crystal, which you can use for whatever purpose you want. You do not need to be on the Stasis subclass to take advantage of this perk and you can use weapon perks like Headstone and Chill Clip.

5Wished Into Being

Huge Amount of Super Ability

Wished Into Being is an Artifact Mod that focuses on generating extra Super energy upon getting ability kills. However, your Super must be nearly fully charged, about 75 percent. Wearing Season of the Wish armor decreases the Super amount threshold.

Wished Into Being is a very reliable Artifact Mod and can work wonders in the builds that focus on ability kills like Contraverse Hold builds and Strand Titan Banner of War builds. The faster you get your Super back the better it is for your build.

Unlimited Radiant

Flint Striker focuses on the Solar subclass verb Radiant, Radiant is a very strong verb that provides about a 25 percent damage bonus in PvE and a 10 percent damage bonus in PvP which can stack with other damage sources.

Flint Striker requires you to get rapid Solar weapons precision hits orSolar weapon final blowsand then you will automatically get Radiant whether you are on the Solar subclass or not. This Artifact Mod synergizes extremely well with another Artifact Mod called Rays of Precision.

3Hail The Storm

Stasis Perfected

Hail The Storm is an incredibly powerful Artifact Mod that greatly increases the damage of Stasis Crystals and defeats frozen combatants. You can use this with the Artifact Mod Pillar of Ice for extra Stasis Crystals generation.

Hail The Storm not only increases the damage of Stasis Crystals it also releases Shards of Ice that damage and slow targets when you shatter a Stasis Crystal. Hail The Storm is necessary this season if you are running a Stasis Build.

2Rays Of Precision

Ignition Everywhere

Rays of Precision is an Artifact Mod that focuses on the Solar subclass verb Ignition. Ignition is an extremely good source of crowd control and dealing damage and it gets even better if you are using Solar subclass and Fragments that elevate it.

Rays of Precision works the way that if you are Radiant, the Solar precision final blows will cause combatants to Ignite. Rays of Precision can work with any subclass as long as you have a Radiant and Solar weapon equipped.

1Argent Ordinance

Rocket DPS

Argent Ordinance is an Artifact Mod that increases the damage of Rocket Launchers by 15 percent at the cost of Armor Charge. Firing a Rocket shot will increase the damage to Rocket Launchers as long as you don’t reload or stow the Rocket.

This reloads and stow penalty can be easily avoided by using Rocket Launchers with the perk options of Reconstruction, Envious Assassin, and Demolitionist. The main appeal of Argent Ordinance is that the damage buff provided by it can stack with other damage sources making Rocket Launchers an even better DPS option.
