Reckoning weapons were originally released in Season of the Drifter in theForsaken expansionand were immediately a hit among players. The Reckoning weapons were some of the best weapons in the game but were, unfortunately, sunset.

Reckoning weapons are now back in Season of the Deep with brand-new perks and a new origin trait. Disaster Plan states, “Picking up ammunition increases this weapon’s flinch resistance and range, which lasts until it is fired again.” There are six weapons in total, which can beobtained through fishingor Sonar Engrams.
6Just in Case
Just in Case is an adaptive frame solar sword. And swords, unfortunately, are the most underperforming weapon archetypes in the game right now. Swords require you to get up close and personal but provide you with no means to defend yourself. Though swords are getting a buff in the future, they remain the worst weapons in the game right now.
Just in Case has some nice utility perks going for it. In the left column, you have Unrelenting, Wellspring, and Relentless Strikes, whereas in the right column, we have perks like Incandescent, Collective Action, and Whirlwind Blade.

5Bug-Out Bag
Bug-Out Bag is an adaptive frame submachine gun that has a solar affinity. The adaptive frame has 900 rpm same as Lightweight frames, but lightweight frames have the intrinsic benefit of faster movement speed and handling, making lightweight frames more desirable than adaptive.
Bug-Out Bag is a solar weapon meaning that it has access to theIncandescent perk. However, these returning reckoning weapons are not craftable, meaning that Bug-Out Bag has no access to Enhanced Incandescent, a significant improvement over normal Incandescent. However, if you do not have any weapon with Enhanced Incandescent or Incandescent in general, then the perk combination of Subsistence/Threat Detector and Incandescent is a must-have.

4Spare Rations
Spare Rations used to be a lightweight hand cannon and had 150 rpm, but Bungie later deprecated the class, and Spare Rations, along with other lightweight hand cannons, was turned into 140 rpm. Spare Rations used to dominate the Crucible when it was initially released in Season of the Drifter but unfortunately, its stats have been power crept with all the new hand cannons that have released with absolutely amazing stats.

Spare Rations also does not have any amazing perks going for it. In the left column, you have Moving Target, Slideshot, Rapid Hit, and Snapshot Sights with perks like Opening Shot, Swashbuckler, and Kill Clip in the right column. Overall, this weapon is still a great dueling hand cannon, even though its stats and perks are a bit lackluster.
3Sole Survivor
Sole Survivor is an arc adaptive frame sniper rifle. This sniper rifle has a lot of good things going for it, it comes with a fan-favorite zoom of 40 and decent base stats. The only thing holding it back is the absence of good right-column perks for The Crucible.
This gun has a good combination for PvE with perks like Lead From Gold, Field Prep, and Rapid Hit in the left column with perks like Frenzy, Vorpal Weapon, and Firing Line. For The Crucible, Snapshot is your best bet in the left column, with Eye of the Storm in the right column.

Outlast is a rapid-fire frame solar pulse rifle. Rapid-fire frames are some of the best weapon frames, and Outlast could have been one of the best solar weapons in the game if only it had incandescent on it. The absence of incandescent is quite disappointing, but it has a lot of good things going for it.

For PvE, in the left column, we have Stats for All, Outlaw, and Feeding Frenzy, all solid options. Whereas in the right column, we have Dragonfly, Demolitionist, and Kill Clip. For the Crucible, we have the perks combination of Encore and Kill Clip or Rangefinder and Kill Clip. Keep Away is also a viable choice.
1Last Man Standing
Last Man Standing is an aggressive frame arc shotgun and ranks higher than the rest because it is one of the few shotguns that can roll with both accuracy and damage-dealing perks. Aggressive frames are the most reliable frame of shotguns to secure kills in The Crucible, and Last Man Standing provides some of the most unique perk combinations seen on a shotgun.
This gun is also viable in PvE as it has access to One-Two Punch in the right column, which you can combine with Subsistence, Threat Detector, or Pugilist in the left column. This is essential for melee-based builds if you already do not have a One-Two Punch shotgun. Opening Shot in the left column is the main appeal of The Crucible. You would want a damage-dealing perk with Opening Shot in the right column fortunately, we have different options like Swashbuckler and Rampage. Discord is also a good option giving you unlimited ammo as long as you are getting kills.
