CyberConnect2 and Aniplex will reveal new details on the upcomingDemon SlayerPS4 game,Kimetsu no Yaiba Hinokami Keppuutan, on February 8, through the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine releasing that day.
As pointed out byGame’s Talk, the usualmagazine leaksthis week revealed that Weekly Shonen Jump 2021 n°9, out on February 1, will announce that new information onKimetsu no Yaiba Hinokami Keppuutanis coming in the next issue, Weekly Shonen Jump 2021 n°10. Out on February 8.
Hiroshi Matsuyama, president of developing studio CyberConnect2, said back at New Years 2021 thatHinokami Keppuutan’s development isgoing super welland that we’d get news soon through the usual magazines. CyberConnect2 is known for itsNarutogames and the.HackJRPG series.
TheDemon SlayerPS4 game wasfirst announcedback in March 2020 for a 2021 release, and we’ve only got a single trailer and a development report video then, and nothing else since. While we’ve never seen any actual gameplay,Hinokami Keppuutanis officially described as a “demon-slaying action game”. and a “versus-fighting action game”.
ADemon Slayermobile gamewas also announced simultaneously,Kimetsu no Yaiba Keppuu Kengeki Royale. However, while initially planned to launch in 2020, it wasindefinitely delayed.
