I know how challengingDelta Force’sWarfare mode can be. However, the Operations mode takes it to the next level. You’re anxious to make a move and sometimes stuck in place anticipating a potential flank from an enemy, only to realize they were bots.
The extraction mode is interesting and keeps you hooked once you get the hang of it. There’s no limit to new guns, new load-outs, and new tricks with operators. Throw in the unique maps, and you will have a challenging battlefield with high risk and reward.
Let’s see how these maps hold up in the game and find which ones suit your playstyle.
5Operation Serpentine
Normal/Hard/Extreme
Technically, it’s not a PvP map butan operations mapwhere youfight against NPCsand can join with or without a squad. What I love the most about this mode is that whateversupply you bring into the match is returned upon completion.
However, if you’re using agear ticket, everything is consumed.That is mainly why I built a maxed-out $500K+ Scar-H with every supplementary attachment and kept gold ammo in the stash.
I suggest trying out Operation Serpentine since it helps you get a feel for the game and gunplay. You’re not losing anything and can try again if you fail the first run.
There aredifferent difficulties for the map, and after completing a phase, you can resupply at depots placed on the map. The moderesembles a campaignwhere you fight the main boss after completing different phases.
Go to the firing range to try new weapons and preview them with attachments without cost.
This is one of the most challenging maps to play inDelta Force. Every time I play this map, a few moments in, I’m holding a chokepoint or forcing one. There are just so manybuildings and rooms on this map.
Unlike other maps, where you have breathing room to hide or relax, Brakkesh is quite the opposite. People canscan you with Hackclawsorrecon your entire teamwith Lunas.
I don’t think any other map gives me as much anxiety as this one does, because you never know who’s holding an angle at a window, and one taps your character with a sniper headshot.
The loot is quite remarkable on the map, butyou’ll run into “juicers,“that’s for sure. I’ve not encountered people who aren’t running Gold gear and ammo on Brakkesh and Space City.
However, the extraction is more straightforward than Space City since thesafe boxes are spread across the maprather than at one hotspot. You can initiate early extract if you want to orintercept otherstrying to.

Tactical gear or, simply put, Operator ultimates can turn the game in your favor. Only if they’re using it at the right time. Don’t sleep on them.
3Space City
This is where the top players play. I know plenty ofDF Pinnacles and Black Hawksplay Zero Dam in normal mode, but you’ll often find them wiping the lobby on Space City.
Space City is the only map on which I’ve got the lowest extraction rate. If I extracted solo, it was without a backpack because of how challenging the extraction points are. Theloot is concentrated in the middle area, and unless you know the building’s layout, you’ll end up lost or missing the extraction.
However, there’s a silver lining. You can make it out of here if you’re good with gunplay and teamplay alongside your squad. Not everyone survives on this map, but that’s the joy of playing Space City. Therisk is relatively high, but you will be rewarded.

Easy/Normal
This is a great map if you need a confidence boost. Who doesn’t love jumping into Zero Dam with Gold or Red gear and wiping new players? But, even with these skilled players to contend with, it’s still a brilliant beginner map.
Especially after thenew underground expansion, we have more area to play in, and if you’re scared of going into hotspots where the safes are, you can sneak into the underground area, loot whatever you can, and extract.
However, you have to be fast, since whoever remains last will try to explore every nook and cranny to get their hands on Gold and Red items. And if you run into them, you might not make it.

1Layali Grove
In contrast to other maps, Layali Grovefeatures quite a big map.You have plenty of spots to hide, passively loot items, and reach the extraction points. Yes, I know, it’s the map wheresnipers are played the mostbecause of how vast it is, but the terrain does make it hard to find people, so there’s balance.
you may become one with the bush and avoid their sight. Then, even if you’re shot, yourteammates can revive you behind a cliff or a rocky outgrowth.
The spawn points aren’t close, and you can opt for early extraction after looting one spot. It’ll take some time for other teams to come to you. Unlike other maps where you run into teams just a few minutes into the match, Layali Grove balances that aspect.
You can get into PvP at safe boxes' locations or run around the outskirts to grab whatever you can and exfil.
