The necromorphs have never been scarier and the atmosphere has never been spookier. There’s a lot to love about this updated version of the horror classic, and you should squeeze out as much enjoyment as you can.

Beat The Game
Maybe the developers thought players wouldn’t enjoy the new ending without seeing the original ending. Maybe they just want to make you earn it.Either way, you’re going to need to beat your first playthrough of the game.This will probably take you a little while, but it’s a great time.
To our knowledge, the difficulty of your playthrough doesn’t matter.So, if you just want to play on story mode, then have at it. That will probably be your fastest way to reach the end of the game. If you’re not in a hurry, then play on whichever difficult you like most.

Start New Game Plus
Once you’ve finished your first playthrough of Dead Space, you’ll be able to boot up New Game Plus!Again, the difficulty of your playthrough doesn’t seem to matter here. So, if you’re looking to blow through that second playthrough to see the alternate ending and unlock the achievement, lower your difficulty and get going. Before you get too far, though, there’s one extra step!

Collect All 12 Marker Shards
to see this secret ending, you’re going to have to do some exploring and put in extra work.You’ll be looking for items called Marker Shards. They have a somewhat purple glow to them. you may certainly spot them from a distance, which is nice.Once you’ve collected all of the shards, you’ll be ready for that secret ending!Take them to Captain Mathias' quarters and arrange them around his bigger marker statue.Then go ahead and finish the game!
