Announced as part of the Fortnite and Star Wars collaboration for theGalactic Battle updatethat rolled out recently, Epic Games has now released Darth Jar Jar into the game, making every Star Wars fan’s nightmare come true!
Starting today, the Darth Jar Jar skin can now be bought from the Fortnite Shop, though you need to gain some serious XP to do so. How much XP? Tryover a million!

Epic Makes Trolling Fortnite Players With The Darth Jar Jar Skin Hard To Do
Fortnite players will need to acquire 1.28 million XP, and once that’s done, they will be able to buy the Darth Jar Jar skin for 1500 V-Bucks, or roughly $13 in real-world currency.
While that amount of XP can be obtained with enough playtime, the Star Wars new season ends soon-ish on June 7, so players will need to get a move on if they want to get this maxium-trollage skin. Needless to say, this has not gone over well with some community members.

OneReddituser (viaIGN) calls Darth Jar Jar “the scummiest thing Epic has ever done to date.” Adding, “Not a style, it’s an entire seperate skin. Not in a bundle, everything sold seperatly totalling around 3200 bucks (robbery). And Gated behind an XP wall prerequisite to even have the PRIVILEGE to spend the aforementioned $32:”
Further complicating things is that a regular Jar Jar skin doesn’t require XP but costs 1500 V-Bucks. The same Reddit user added, “Regular Jar jar alone is 20 dollars. If you want both that shit is 52 entire ass dollars for something that ought to have just been 1 skin with 3 styles.” Well, they do have a point with that.

Apple Blocks Fortnite From iOS Completely Rather Than Let Epic Games Win
Epic Games hoped for Fortnite to be back for iOS devices this week.
Given how Epic Games has constantly called Apple greedy given the mobile manufacturer’s 30% cut from its App Store, maybe Epic needs to take a good look at the mirror? A discount for V-Bucks is ongoing now for Fortnite and all purchasesthrough the Epic Games Store, so that might help ease the burn.

Future Star Wars updates incoming to Fortnite per the roadmap include:
The Darth Jar Jar skin is entirely optional, but I understand why players would want it. Hiopefully, future highly-coveted skins won’t have the same requirements.
