With so many options and most rings being good in their own right, it’s easy for a player to accidentally skip over a perfect ring for their build. So, to help you select the best rings in the game, here are the 10 most suitable options that’ll fit well into your build.
10Darkmoon Ring
Magic, Faith, and Pyromancy Builds can be complex, as they require many stats for you to be able to cast spells. Attunement is needed on top of the already required damage-based stat. While attunement does give you more FP, having enough spell slots may sometimes be an issue.
With this ring equipped, you’re given two additional attunement slots on top of any already unlocked by your character. With so many spells in this game, many are situational, and having more equipped at one time can leave you ready for any situation.

9Estus Ring
Health management is always an issue in Dark Souls games. Only having limited healing between each bonfire will leave you wanting to get the most out of each charge and not wasting any extra HP available.
While this ring is equipped, Estus charges heal for about a fifth more than usual. This ring does scale on the Flask as you upgrade it, making it more effective as your upgrade the Estus Flask. This ring is also perfect for out-of-combat healing, as it can be equipped for the healing and then switched to be more combat-ready.

8Ring of Steel Protection
While all players' goal is to stay alive longer by not getting hit by enemies, it’s always best to prepare for failure on that front. A good armor helps when your timing is off, preventing you from getting wiped out in a single hit.

This ring increases your physical damage absorption and doesn’t slow down your character. Wearing this ring with lighter armor will help you move faster while dodging and still be prepared for those moments when you do get hit.
7Sage Ring
Damage-based spells can be very effective builds. Bigger spells do mean a longer cast time, and when casting a spell, your character is left completely open to attacks. Your dexterity stat allows for a quicker cast time, but most magic builds are already focused on leveling up enough stats as it is.
This Ring lowers the spell casting time for all spells. While it doesn’t actually increase your dexterity, this ring decreases the cast time by the equivalent of thirty levels. With the max cast speed capped at fifty dexterity, a spells-based build can reach the cap at only twenty dexterity.

6Harvel’s Ring
Wearing heavy armor and having high poise is always a good option. In Dark Souls 3, the combat is heavily influenced by Bloodborne and is fast-paced compared to its predecessors.
With bosses moving much faster and having more hits for each combo, being able to move fast is almost a necessity for players. With Harvel’s Ring, your max equipment load is greatly increased, allowing you to wear that heavier armor while still moving fast.

5Sun Princess Ring
With health management being so crucial in the game, the ability to heal for free is priceless. With this ring equipped, a player’s health is restored by two points every second. While this is a tiny number at first, the healing will add up to a noticeable difference over time.
During the long runs from one bonfire to the next, every second of exploration and backtracking is now healing you. This ring can also be stacked with the Ancient Dragon Greatshield, which offers the same effect and doubles your healing to four HP a second.

4Prisoners Chain
Much like the Ring of Favor, this ring offers a bonus in some of your base stats. While equipped, your player is given five extra levels in Vigor, Endurance, and Vitality. This boosts your base stats along with your damage absorption.

This ring does have a downside, as the player wearing it will take extra damage. While this negative may seem to outweigh the benefits, the added defensive bonus counteracts the extra damage to a degree. Your added health also makes taking those hits less effective than before.
3Chloranthy Ring
Endurance is needed for just about every combat action you can take. If you run out at the wrong time, you can be left as a sitting duck to get hit by your enemies. With less endurance, you can find yourself running out often and not regenerating fast enough to use.

This ring greatly increases the recovery speed of your stamina, helping you get back into a fight quickly or have just enough to dodge one last time. This bonus can be stacked with other items that offer a similar bonus, helping increase your stamina by almost twice the usual speed.
2Ring of Favor
Unlike the Prisoner’s chain, this ring increases both Health, Stamina, and equipment load, while not giving any artificial levels. These are percentage bonuses that scale up your current stats. This ring does not offer any penalty and does not break when you remove it, unlike in Dark Souls 1.
While the bonuses for this ring have gotten worse from the first game, it is still an incredible option. It is the superior option in the long run, as your stats will be much higher later in the game, and this percentage bonus will have a much greater effect.
1Covetous Silver Serpent Ring
Souls are crucial to buy items, upgrades, and new levels in the series. Well, with this ring equipped, more souls are acquired from defeated enemies. Getting and equipping this ring as soon as you are able can lead to a long-term benefit in terms of obtaining souls through the game.
This ring can also be staked with items that offer the same bonus, doubling or tripling your total bonus of souls.Much like in Dark Souls 1, this ring offers the bonus when the souls are obtained, offering a short window when a boss is defeated to equip this ring to get the bonus souls.
