If you’ve ever wondered about the integrity of your backpack in video games, it appears that inCyberpunk 2077will feature a bulletproof backpack to keep all your cybernetic doo-hickeys and necessities. That’s not all, a real-world backpack looks to be put to the test byCyberpunk 2077universe creator, Mike Pondsmith.
As reported byPCGamesN, in a physical feature found in PC Gamer’s 336th issue, Mike Pondsmith explains thatCyberpunk 2077features bulletproof clothing and gear and that he now owns a bulletproof backpack which he plans to unload a bunch of bullets into it when he gets home. Here’s the quote PCGamesN pulled from the article:

“Yeah, I have a bulletproof backpack. I got it because we talk about bulletproof clothing and gear in Cyberpunk. I’ve been thinking about its weight, how it fits into the environment, whether people notice it. Then when I get home we’re gonna take it out onto the range and we’re gonna put a bunch of 9mm rounds into it,”
“Is it really that bulletproof? We’ve seen the numbers, but let’s find out for sure.”
It does seem as if Pondsmith is going to be putting the bag through some sheer hell. Perhaps it’s worth getting Keanu Reeves to go allJohn Wickon it and see just how much damage it can withstand from those breathtaking bullets being fired at it. Remember thebreathtaking thing? Yeah? Good.
