What should you do with those Evolution Shards?

In the new event, three Lightning will randomly strike the existing troops on the battlefield every 15 seconds. This is going to force you to deploy your troops with perfect timing, so that the Lightnings do not catch you off guard before reaching the opponent’s crown towers.

Best Decks For Power Surge Event

There is a little trick in the Power Surge event that could easily make you the winner of this event. The Lightnings do not attack the structure card. This means if you place aTesla Tower, an Inferno Tower, an X-Bow, or even a Mortar, they willremain safe in the arena as Lightnings will not damage them at all.

So, this opens up an opportunity for you to deal damage to the opponent’s crown towers without being affected by the event’s most dangerous rule. This is, however, one way of easily winning this battle. On the other hand, you could have spam units and tank units in your build, which are not significantly affected by the Lightning. A tank unit like Giant will onlylose around 30% HP from a Lightning strike, which is not enough to take him out. On the other hand, when Lightning tries to hit a Skeleton Army, it can only hit one Skeleton in the group, which is quite aneglectable loss for that card.

Mortar And X-Bow Deck

With this deck, it is highly suggested that Mortar be placed in the middle of the river in a way that it can target one of the crown towers. Then, you need to place the Telsa Tower right next to it. Now, verify to have either Zap or Firecracker ready to be deployed so that you’re able to target any possible spam unit from the opponent to destroy the Mortar.

Once Mortar is gone, you can replace it with X-Bow to target the same crown tower again. This time around, you can use Skeleton Army to defend the X-Bow. In between, you can also drop Giant on the other side of the river to force the opponent to divide its troops and buy more time for yourself to recharge the Elixir bank.

Elixir Golem And Giant Deck

Giant and Elixir Golem are your primary damage dealers in this deck. However, you need to deploy them right after the Lightning strike. Keep in mind that theLightning will not strike if there are no troops on the battlefield; however, the ground will glow bright even if the strike does not happen. So, you need to deploy Elixir Golem and Giant right after that glow. It is suggested that you deploy each troop on one side of the battlefield.

After the deployment, you should prepare both Zaps and Arrows to protect them from any spam units. If they are attacked by a single unit, there is no need to worry, as the Lightning will eventually strike that troop, unless it’s a structure like Inferno Tower, which again can be interrupted by a Zap.
