Kevin Costner Turned Down Chris Hemsworth for a Movie Role
During his recent appearance at CinemaCon, actorKevin Costnerreflected on turning down the Marvel star Chris Hemsworth for a role in his movie. While he praised Hemsworth’s talent and looks, describing him as“handsome and so good,” Costner ultimately opted not to cast him.
The actor suggested that the movie he’s denied Hemsworth for is a love story and he is happy that theExtractionstar loved it. However, he still denied casting him in the film,saying,“Chris will have to wait his turn,”as he is still young enough to play such roles.

“He’s going to have to go find his [own] love story. [But] I’m glad he likes this one,”he said. He suggested that he may pass down such roles to Hemsworth when he feels unable to continue.

In a recent conversation with Entertainment Tonight, theThorstar recalled coming across a script that he really loved and was eager to be a part of. However, he was later told that the 69-year-oldYellowstonestar already has that role. He said,
“There was a movie, a script that I’d read and loved and was like, ‘I want to get that,’ and then someone said, ‘Kevin Costner has that [role].”
