Chainsaw Manis one of the most popular Japanese manga series right now. Tatsuki Fujimoto started the manga back in December 2018, and a total of 11 volumes have been published until December 2020. Interestingly, the creator confirmed that the manga series would be back withPart 2in the second half of 2022.
On the other hand, the much-awaitedanime adaptation ofChainsaw Manis also scheduled to release sometime in 2022. So, it’s fascinating that theChainsaw Manfandom has a lot to look forward to in 2022.
Chainsaw Man Creator Working on a Manga Around Femme Fatale
Recently, Tatsuki Fujimoto distributed his booklet in an exhibition at the Angoulême International Comics Festival. Interestingly, a Twitter user namedRemifound a comment from Tatsuki stating that he is working on a new manga series. Tatsuki said in his statement that he is writing a manga around Femme Fatale, which roughly translates to"Disastrous Woman."
“I wanted to make something about a femme fatale, andI love those character types, destroying everything on their path. I think fans of that genre will like it,“said Tatsuki in his booklet.
However, the author confirmed that he is still working on the manga, and it is far from being finished. So, you’ll have to wait for a while to get your hands on another incredible story from Tatsuki Fujimoto.
Chainsaw Manis hugely popular for its incredible art and story-telling. So, it’s no wonder that fans are already thrilled to watch MAPPA’s anime adaptation of the manga series. And it’s really excited that the author is working on a new project that will feature destruction in different ways.
