The footage is less than three minutes long, but there’s so much to see, includingthe reveal of two monsters.
The star of the show is undoubtedlythe terrifying new arachnid monster, Lala Barina. This monster is fast, and Capcom nailed the insect-like movement. You can see the Lala Barina give a Hunter a nasty stab at 27 seconds in, which launches them across the arena.

Ifyou plan to swat up on Monster Hunter before Wilds releases, choosing betweenRiseandWorld is the toughest decision.

Capcom stated there’s a “significant number” of users who demand physical media.
We can only speculate, but the monster spawns a rose-like plumage on its back that throws red spores everywhere. Status effects are pretty common inMonster Hunter, so this is likely a vessel for those.

There’s also a quick glimpse at the insect mounting another monster at 40 seconds, showing thatmonster interactions are alive and wellinWilds.
